The
10 meter USB3 cable converts the USB3 data signal into an optical signal. The optical signal is then transmitted over 10 meters of optical fiber cable and after that it is converted back to an electrical USB3 signal. The power is transmitted using copper wire. The 10 meter USB3 cable uses a maximum of 0.94W from the USB3 port to convert the electric signals into optical signals and back. Because the USB3 signals are transmitted using optical fiber cable, no EMI problems can occur. The cable is a 10 meter highflex cable and can therefore be used in robots and moving machines.
